I make a lot of watercolors, and was intrigued by the selection of rare and unusual colors offered by L’oeil. I ordered some, and they are really nice. One thing I appreciate the most is that L’oeil sells some colors which are not super intense, because normally, to get a softer, color you have to add a lot of water or combine two colors, but there is something nice about being able to use a healthy amount of a single color to get a dense application of paint in a color that is also soft. Try it, it’s definitely worth the expense if you love watercolor.
