PV29 CI#71129 (Perylene Violet)
• Classic plastic pan (3.2ml full pan)
Perylene Violet is a deep, rich red-violet to purple. It maintains color intensity even in thin washes or glazes, and creates rich, luminous darks when mixed with complementary colors. It doesn't fade or shift color over time like many historical violet pigments.
Developed in the latter half of the 20th century, perylene pigments represent some of the most lightfast and stable organic pigments ever created. PV29 was introduced to provide artists with a permanent violet alternative to fugitive traditional pigments.
Light Fastness: 8/8
Non-toxic
Handmade watercolors may not look as nice as those made by factories. We aim to make highly pigmented and flowy watercolors. Flowy watercolor lets you create layers in watercolor, lovely loose paintings, and much more.
Each is handmade using our selected, high-quality pigment and gum arabic solution made from distilled water, gum arabic powder from France, glycerine, and honey.
